Focus of Heart

Becoming continuously more concious of an internal paradigm shift...a focus on others instead of self. Not that I no longer care about good things happening to me or having things go my way, but I think I need to share the wealth a little.
I think I'd like to start a non-profit or charity. I've always thought I wanted to start my own company or own my own business, but this seems so much more enlightening. Focusing on money and selling and profit and all the impersonal (and unmeaningful in the long run) persuits and stress no longer seems worthwhile, whereas a charity allows freedom and growth all for a great cause, something that's exciting to work for and that really matters and means something to people and life.

Amazing GPB show I saw

one man's wilderness

"alone in the wilderness"
the story of Dick Proenneke, presented by Bob Swerer Productions

This lone man filmed himself and his journey of building a cabin alone in the wilderness using only basic tools.

Quotes

Don't just do something, sit there! Sit there long enough each morning to decide what is really important during the day ahead. RICHARD EYRE, director

I wake up every morning determined both to change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning the day a little difficult. E. B. WHITE, author
